Do you feel that there is too much on your plate?
The first time I hired a life coach, she asked me about my life goal.
I answered her that I wanted to live a balanced life.
By then, I thought that a balanced life meant that my roles should be equally lived.
Let me explain it better.
I thought that being a mom should take the same time and energy slot as being a career woman.
And the more roles I added to my list, I thought time and energy should be again equally divided.
The truth is a balanced life does not necessarily mean having equally divided time and energy slots for each one of your roles.
It’s ok to focus on work when needed.
Then have another period focusing on family, friends, and life partners.
Because when you look at a scale, you’ll see that balance oscillates as when you’re adding weight to its plates.
It’s never static…
You’re not a robot. You don’t need to over-function all time!
And one sign you’re over-functioning is when you try to control your life and whoever is on your way.
This is simply exhausting.
And you definitely don’t need to go through that.
