YOUR WAY OUT MIDLIFE CHAOS

Has anyone ever told you that you're ahead of time?
Well, I heard this recently from my students, and it intrigued me.
Then I asked them why they thought I was fast forward.
Their answer was pretty interesting. 

They said I take things from a different perspective.
Things like:
Your profession doesn’t need to be permanent.
Your intrinsic value has nothing to do with your employment status.
Your talents are unique, so talk about them more frequently.
And when it comes to career growth, they said that learning from me made them open their minds to a broader vision of themselves.
I accepted the compliment and thanked them.

So now, let’s reflect upon the real meaning of being ahead of time.
It means thinking about your future and taking action now to make it happen.
It also means that you must make a decision.
Definiteness of decision always requires courage, sometimes very great courage.
And from what I know, courage comes with confidence. And confidence comes with action.
All in all, the only way to know what you want is to work on clarity, then take action to achieve it.
